I am Hardik Khanesa , Software Engineer by profession .

I have been part of State Government university of Gujarat, India, of course another Computer Science Student (2016-2020).

Little backstory of Admission

• In Gujarat,India specifically we have to give JEE main for admission in Engineering back then 2016. We were the only batch of engineering who got admission through it , other batches have options of GUJCET .
• Got some good marks to get into state government college of gujarat and joined as a computer engineering student .

First Year

• As typical indian engineering curriculumn we were having general subjects which not related to particular CS . I learnt mechanical,electrical , C programming in particular subjects of engineering.
• Apart from Subjects i have a friends who doing competitive programming , so i started little bit of it. Started problem solving over hackerrank.
• Also done some basics courses of Edx - CS 50 by david malan , Learnt a git .

Second Year

• Got some Cs subjects like database ,oops. Hopefully some good things in engineering curricullumn.
• I was wanted to do intern so i started javascript 30 , freecodecamp,etc for learning .(Back then we were not having cool playlists that having now a days for a specific technologies)
• Made some learnings and tried to apply for interns in Ahmedabad specifically , because of my home .
• Does not got interns , continues learning over web dev technologies.

Third year

• Year of practicing java , learning web dev some good and effective way .
• Although i was not a good programmer in collegues but always given a push ups my self by making my self busy with programming and computers , i left Insta , fb for couple of months to focus and finding a purpose of doing programming
• Started Chegg for helping CS students and earning some bucks. This not long last more than a month .
• i started to apply again for internships and not able to find again in that summer . I was little scary guy who do not want to work while college , i only applyed for vacation and in state university of mine they did not give more than 15-20 day vacation effectively , they took exams in vacations ,lol .

Fourth Year

• Year of getting a job and internships.
• I started making specific preps for placements .
• Revised CS subjects , Quant,Aptitude,Vocabulary , etc for R1 of companies.
• Made practices for Typical service based companies coming over campus . -Selected for Accenture on Day 1 of campus and according to rule i also moved out of placement list as i already having an offer in hand.
• The era of feeling stress and making self doubt started after getting selected in Not so dream company for me back then.
• started applying interns and got selected 2 of local companies , joined one of them. -Does completed interns and before 15-20 day of finals cowid 19 lockdown happens.
• We stuck for finals and job in between ara . We can not join a job and we can not give a exam , Deadlock situation. -Then finally ara end in august 2020, completed finals and started a job. ( Meanwhile found a way to not join accenture)
